Williams Akpabio -AKHA (Aide) Uyo AKWA IBOM STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY PRESENTS BUDGET FOR 2021 FISCAL YEAR Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly is among the Ministry, Department and Agencies that appears before the House Committee on Appropriation and Finance today for presentation of the Assembly's 2021 Budget Estimate at the Assembly Complex. The team of management and Directors of the House was led by the Clerk of the House of Assembly, Mrs Mandu Umoren and the Deputy Clerk of the House Anietie Eka Esq.  In her presentation, the Clerk noted that the Assembly is not satisfied with the budget proposal for next year and pleaded with the Committee to consider key areas that will enhance effective service delivery of the the House and the well-being of Assembly Staff.  The items  for Augmentation includes Rooffing of the Assembly Complex, Renovation of Assembly complex, Construction of Assembly Press Centre, Consultancy services among others. Williams Akpabio - AKHA(Aide), Uyo ASSEMBLY SERVICE COMMISSION DEFENDS 2021 BUDGET ESTIMATES. The Chairman, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Service Commission, Barr. Godwill Umoh accompanied by Commissioner 2, Dr. Roberta Edem, Commissioner 4, Barr Godwin Awah, Executive Secretary to the Commission, Elder Sylvanus Akpan and Head of Departments today presented the commission's Budget estimate for 2021 to the House Committee on Appropriation at Finance at the Assembly Complex. The Chairman, presented a total budgetary outlay of N565,000,000 (Five and sixty-five million naira) for 2021 fiscal year and noted that the budget which stands at 215,000,000 as approved by the State Ministry for Economic Development was grossly inadequate for the Commission to perform optimally.
